పూర్వరంగం, గజవదాన వెడువే, కృష్ణశబ్దం, పుష్పాంజలి, శ్రీ వల్లీదేవసేనాపతే, రామాయణం, గోవర్ధనగిరి, దశావతారం, తీరు తీరు జవరాల మొదలైన అంశాలను కుమారి ప్.బి. వైష్ణవి, శ్రావ్యక, నిత్య, ప్రణతి, అక్షర, రిత్విక, మైత్రి, రుతిక మొదలైనవారు ప్రదర్శించి మెప్పించారు.
మినీ శిల్పారామం ప్రారంభించి నెలరోజులు దాటి అక్కడ ప్రజల నుండి మంచి స్పందర రావడం, కళాకారులు తమ ప్రదర్శనలు ఇవ్వడానికి ఎంతో ఉత్సాహం చూపిస్తున్నారు. చేనేత హస్తకళలు సంబందించిన స్టాల్ల్స్ వారు ప్రతిరోజు నూతన, వివిధరకాల ఉత్పత్తులను ప్రజలకి అందుబాటులో పెడుతున్నారు.
కుండలు, హ్యాండ్లూమ్ డెమోన్స్ట్రేషన్స్, మెహంది, పోట్రైట్స్ వేసే కళాకారులు, వగ్గం వర్క్స్, లక్కీ బ్యాంగిల్ డెమోన్స్ట్రేషన్స్ కూడా సందర్శకులకి అందుబాటులో వున్నాయి.
Mini Shilparamam, Uppal & Pallavi Academy of Fine arts Jointly presents the Kuchipudi Dance recital at Minishilparamam Amphitheatre stage on 27.7.2019
Pallavi Academy of Fine Arts, an Institute for music and dance has been established in 1988 at Habsiguda, Hyderabad and is doing yeoman service for the promotion of performing Arts. The Director, Prof S K Venkatachary heads the vocal department in the academy and Smt P B Krishna, the principal leads the dance department. The other gurus in support are Shri S K Ragahavachary for dance and Smt K Padmasini for Veena. Our students have been giving many group, solo performances and ballets all over India. All our performances were well appreciated by the audience and the press.
About the Guru:
Smt P B Krishna Bharathi, one of the eminent exponents of Kuchipudi, hails from Hyderabad with a Masters degree in dance from University of Hyderabad and many years of experience as a performer and teacher. She is initially trained under VedantamPrahladaSarma and later under PadmasriDr. K. Sobha Naidu and also served here guru Shobha Naidu’s SrinivasaKuchipudi Art Academy as a teacher for few years. SmtBharathi today is aptly the principal of the Pallavi Academy of Fine Arts in Habsiguda, Hyderabad. A recipient of numerous awards and titles, including SanskritiRatna, Natyasri, UgadiPuraskar, N T R Puraskar, NatyaVisaradha. SmtBharathi has choreographed many a dance ballets and solo items. KaaliyaMardhana, Aagrahaanugraham, Sankranthi, Gurbhyonamaha, NaukaCharitham, Katha Kelika are a few ballets. She also toured and conducted workshops in Washington DC, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. Recently she has been awarded the Distinguished Visitor Award from the Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. She has trained many students from their beginnings through rangapravesham and post graduate degress a few of whom are teaching dance across the world.
POORVA RANGAM
This is a prelude, in which the dancers sets the stage with Punyavachanam, Muggu, Deepam, Dhoopam and offers prayers to the elephant headed god Ganesha with the song Tandavanritya for the smooth going of the performance in the traditional style of Kuchipudi. This is set in ragamalika to talam Adi. Performed by Mythri, Ruthika, Varsha, Akshara, Ritvika, Snigdha, Snikita, Mahati, Ananya, Dhriti, Tina, Akshara, Tejaswi, Manaswi, Medaswi and Gayatri.
GAJAVADANA BEDUVE
This is a lyric in Kannada language written by poet Purandaradasa. In this item the elephant headed God, the remover of obstacles, Lord Ganesha is propitiated. He is described as the worshiper of the dweller of all the three worlds. The dancer asks for his benevolence and blessings. Set to Hamsadwani ragam and Adi talam. Performed by P B Vaishnavi, Sravyaka, Sai Kavya
KRISHNA SHABDHAM
In this number the nayika performs dance out of sheer ecstasy and divine love , in the presence of all knowing and appreciative Lord Srikrishna, extolling his divine nature and expressing here longing and love for him. In this number the heroine prepares sandal paste and applies to the Lord. She also prepares betel leaves and offers them in to him. She picks flowers, weaves a garland and coyly decorates the lord with the garland. This item is prominent in kuchipudi tradition for its even composition of expression, rhythmic movement and gestures. This item is set to Ragam – Mohana and Talam Adi. Performed by, Mythri, Varsha, Ruthika, Akshara and Ritvika.
PUSHPANJALI:
In this item the dancer pay salutations to the Sun God. His rays are very powerful and bright. He is present in the entire world protecting his beloved people. This item also lays importance on the intricate foot steps in the kuchipudi style of dancing. This is set to ragamalika and talam Adi, choreographed by Smt P B Krishna Bharathi. Performed by Tejaswi, Dhriti, Tina, Akshara, Ananya, Gaayatri, Mahati, Medaswi, Manaswi, Mythri, Snikita and Snigda.
SRI VALLI DEVASENAPATHE
Oh! Lord Subramanya, the beloved of Sri Valli and Devasena, we pay our salutations to you.
As described above this item depicts the stories of how Lord Subramanya got married to Sri Valli and Devasena. The first story is the one where Lord Ganesha comes in the form of an elephant to hurt Sri Valli and subramanya swamy disguises himself as an old man and asks sri valli to marry him if he saves her life. The second story is where the king is enthralled by lord subramanya for killing the demon Tarakasura and gets his daughter, devasena, married to the lord. In this dance number the dancer depicts the beauty of the peacock as the lord’s mode of conveyance. Also, the mighty lord with six hands is portrayed as the fulfiller of all wishes. This is set to Ragam Nata Bhairavi and Talam Adi, Choreographed by Smt. P B Krishna Bharathi. Performed by P B Vaishnavi, Shravyaka and Sai Kavya.
Ramayanam:
A visual representation of the epic Ramayana from birth of Rama to Sita’s Agni Pariksha( an ordeal of fire) is portrayed in a story form narrated by the twin brothers Lava and Kusha, children of Lord Rama and Sita. While Vishnu takes the form of Rama, his mighty bed the Sesha is born as Lakshmana and the shanka aand chakra as Bharatha Shatrugna. Lava and Kusha further unfolds the story of their parents Rama and Sita as Child Rama’s mischief of wanting the moon, Yaga Rakshna, Sivadhanurbhangam, Sita Parinayam, Rama Vanavasam, Soorpanaka dwamsam, Maricha, Sita Apaharana, Vali Sugriva Fight, Lanka Dahanam, Rama Sethu, Ravana Dwamsam, Sita Agnipravesham. This is scripted by Dandibhotla Vaikunta Narayna Murthy and choreographed by Late Shri Vempati Ravi Shankar. Performed by Shravyaka, Sai Kavya, Nitya, Pranati, Varsha, Akshara, Ritvika, Mythri, Ruthika, Ananya, Snigdha, Mythri and Snikita.
Govardhana Giri
This is a tarangam of Sri Narayana teetha. In this the composer describes, Lord Krishna as GovardhanaGiridhara. Here the villagers pray the GovardhanaGiri for the well being of their village. Seeing this Indra bursts out of anger and orders Lord of rain to destroy the whole village. Unable to bare the destruction, the villagers plead Lord Krishna to save. With this Krishna lifts the GovardhanaGiri with his little finger and saves all the villagers.
In this composition the poet conjures up the picture of the Lord as Narthana Krishna in the kuchipudi style of dancing over the edges of brass plate for different rhythms which are neatly woven into the sequence set to Ragamalika in TalamAdi, Choreographed by Smt. P B Krishna Bharathi. Performed by P B Vaishnavi, Shravyaka and Sai Kavya.

In each yuga the world is threatened with annihilation by forces of evil. Lord Vishnu the preserver of the Universe takes an appropriate form or avatar to destroy the evil, to protect the good and to re-establish the supremacy of Dharma. This item is set to Ragamalika and Tala Misrachapu, choreographed by Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. Performed by Nitya, Pranati, Akshara, Ritvika, Mythri, Ruthika, Varsha, Ananya, Snikita and Snigdha.
TIRU TIRU JAVARALA
The relationship between Venkateswara Swamy and Alamelumanga is what this Annamacharya Keerthana is all about. The dancers portray the passion and affection that the lord has for the empress of his life, Alamelumanga, and the beauty of the romance and love between them is depicted beautifully using graceful dance moves. This is set to Ragam Gambhira Naata and Talam Adi, choreographed by Smt. P B Krishna Bharathi. Performed by P B Vaishnavi, Shravyaka, Sai Kavya, Nitya and Pranati.
