Dallas Celebrated TPAD Vanabhojanalu 2017 with Massive Gathering
Dallas, Texas: Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) brings Dallas Telugu community together one more time by organizing and unveiling another memorable social event “Vanabhojanalu” on May 13, 2017 at Pier 121 Marina Park in Lewisville, Texas.
TPAD is known for hosting the biggest Bathukamma celebrations in North America organized this Vanabhojanalu with a gathering of well over 2000 people. This event symbolizes celebration of mother nature. With a soft cool breeze from the nearby lake and aroma of Telangana food and delicacies cooked onsite by TPAD team along with enjoyable music kept the ambience perfect and spirits high of the attendees from 11:00 AM till 8:00 PM. For well over 2000 people, TPAD team demonstrated a perfect team work by cooking authentic Telangana delicacies under the trees and served to all attendees through multiple food stations.
There were ample games for kids and adults including Free Boat Riding, Cricket, Volleyball, Kites Flying, Antakshari, Tug of war, Lemon spoon, Face Painting, and many more. Raffle was conducted for attendees with gold coins and many other exciting prizes. The guests were pleasantly surprised with a Flash Mob by TPAD team. The event of this magnitude was possible because of dedicated team members and committed volunteers with six weeks of planning and flawless execution.
The event started with Durga Puja, Karan Poreddy (President), Ashok Kondala (BoT Chair) and Madhavi Sunkireddy (Coordinator) played a key role in the success and orchestration of the event. Upender Telugu (Chairman) welcomed the guest of honor Jeff Cheney, the newly elected Frisco Mayor, few political dignitaries from Telangana and all attendees to the park and thanked several local and national organizations and media for participation and spreading the word about Vanabhojanalu.
TPAD President, Karan Poreddy and executive team members Sudhakar Kalasani(Past President), Ramana Lashkar(Secretary), Chandra Police(Joint-Secretary), Linga Reddy Alva(Treasurer), Ravikanth Mamidi(Joint-Treasurer), Roja Adepu, Roopa Kannayyagari, Satya Perkari, Srinivas Vemula, Srini Gangadhara, Surendar Chintala, Sharath Yerram and Satish Janumpalli have worked very hard for success of the event. There was significant contribution by enthusiastic members like Uma Gaddam, Laxmi Poreddy, Shankar Parimal, Rathna Vuppala, Jaya Telakalapalli, Sharada Singireddy, Geetha kalvala, Sangeeta Telugu, Madhumathi Vyasaraju, Deepthi Yarlagadda, Anuradha Mekala, Raj Adepu, Kavitha Brahmadevara, Vikas Motkur, Sai Bhagyanagar, Ravi Tikka, Shanti Nuthi, Sashirekha and Kalyani Tadimeti are few to mention.
The entire organizational members of TPAD, the Foundation committee members led by Upender Telugu (Foundation Chair), Mahendar Kamireddy ( Foundation Co-Chair), Ajay Reddy Eleti, Raghuveer Bandaru, Janakiram Mandadi, Rao Kalvala, Raj Gondhi and Board of Trustees led by Ashok Kondala (BOT-Chair), Manohar Kasagani (Co-Chair), Madhavi Sunkireddy(Cooridnator), Ram Annadi, Praveen Billa, Raj Todigala, Pavan Gangadhara and Indu Pancharpula along with TPAD advisors Venu Bhagyanagar, Vikram Jangam, Naresh Sunkireddy, Jaya Telakalapalli, Madhavi Lokireddy, Santosh Kore, Sateesh Nagilla, Arvind Muppidi, Ganga Devara and Ravi Shankar Patel worked hard to make this event memorable to the Dallas Telugu Community.
The event was supported and attended by several local and national organization leaders from NATA, ATA, TANA, TATA, DATA, IANT, Tantex, JET, TDF and etc.
