Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has visited Ravindra Bharathi today. The CM went round the premises, examined the block where Cultural Affairs department is functioning.
The CM discussed with the officials concerned on what action to be taken to use Ravindra Bharathi, which is in the heart of the city, for the better use. He said there is a need to expand the parking lots and spread the green lawns.
He has instructed that Telangana Sahitya Academy should operate from Ravindra Bharathi and wanted a better coordination between the Academy and Cultural Affairs department.
He also asked the officials to make proper arrangements and prepare an action plan for the Telangana World Telugu Conference to be held in October.
The CM wanted suggestions to be given to the government of action to be initiated to protect Telugu language and preserve its greatness. Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao has released a compilation of poems by Telangana poets with village as background theme, “Talliveru”.
